Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
Where is my study data stored?
Your study session data (date, subject, duration) is securely stored in a Firebase Firestore database. This data is associated with a unique user ID, which is either generated for you anonymously when you first use the tool or linked to your account if you are authenticated through a broader system where Toolixo might be integrated. This allows your log to persist between visits.
Can I log study sessions for past dates?
Yes, you can select any past date using the date picker to log sessions you might have missed recording earlier. You cannot log sessions for future dates.
How are "This Week" and "This Month" summaries calculated?
"This Week" calculates total study hours from the most recent Monday to the current day (or Sunday if your locale considers Sunday the start of the week). "This Month" calculates total hours from the 1st day of the current calendar month to the current day.
What if I make a mistake in a logged entry?
Currently, you can delete an incorrect entry using the trash can icon () in the log and then re-add it with the correct information. Direct editing of past entries is not yet a feature in this version.
Will my data be accessible on other devices?
If you are using an anonymous Firebase session, your data is primarily tied to your browser on the current device. To access data across devices, a persistent login/account system would typically be required, which is not a standalone feature of this specific tool but could be part of a larger integrated platform.
